A rusted out section of an old train exposing multiple layers of paint. Snoqualmie Railroad Museum, Snoqualmie, Washington. Photographer's note: The colors were very faded when I shot the image, so I enhanced them to approximate what the original paint would have looked like.
About Larey McDaniel
Phyllis & Larey McDaniel Phyllis & Larey McDaniel Larey was born in Wallowa, Oregon and got his first clarinet and camera at about the same time in Bremerton, Washington. He has been enthralled with both art forms ever since and has created a professional life that neatly intertwines the two, playing bass clarinet with the Seattle Symphony until retiring in 2014 and showing his photography at Parklane Gallery in Kirkland since 2001. Phyllis was born in Fargo, North Dakota, studied music at Augsburg College in Minneapolis and graduated from the University of Washington.
